About Us
Ehanna (a long time ago), in the year 2005. It all started with a 24-inch Lynx cutter and Flex 5 software, which was purchased from a cousin (Tom Flute). This was the beginning of N8ive Graffix. After about 3-4 years of hands-on learning experiences, we hit the road to local pow-wows at colleges in Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota, selling custom design car decals.
After years of mistakes and many rolls of vinyl, we invested in an 8’x12’ enclosed trailer and hit the road. Our set up was easy consisting of a laptop, cutter, and rolls of vinyl. Most designs were simple, one-color custom decals and lettering. Multi-colored decals were next, these were layered and time consuming. Our working area was becoming very cramped.
In mid 2006, we added T-shirts and hoodies to our line of products. A heat press was acquired at this time, as well as thermoflex vinyl. While we could still layer colors, it was time consuming.
In 2010, we traded in the 8’x12’ trailer for an 8’x18’ enclosed trailer. We began to attend more pow-wows on the road, and our office became mobile. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, which in the Dakotas it has a mind of its own, the trailer did its job going from one extreme to the next. We also set up a 10’x20’ canopy to display our company’s banner and showcase our products to customers.
In 2018, our company upgraded and purchased a Roland 54” printer/cutter, and an 8.5’x22’ trailer with generator hookup, outlets on the inside, and fold up counters to work on. With the additional space, we can now cut more than one decal at a time, do multi-colored designs, and heat transfers. No more time consuming layering.
Today, N8ive Graffix can now produce custom banners, car decals, T-shirts, large format printing, and hoodies. We are a home and family based company, with the help from sisters, daughters, sons, and now our grandkids.
